Happy Friday to all of you Student Leaders! My four-year term on the NAEYC Governing Board ends today, May 31, 2013. I was introduced to NAEYC over 15 years ago when I became the dean of Pacific Oaks College Northwest in Seattle, Washington. I was new to the early childhood field and had come to it by way of roads that did not seem to be headed in that direction.
